Day 1 Switch with a fan that stopped working after gradually becoming louder for months. I bought an 'OEM' fan from ebay for around $10 and a tool kit from Amazon for another $15. When I opened the Switch, I saw that my thermal paste was basically dried/burnt out. Grindy noise means the fan is dying. It's not terribly difficult to replace yourself. A fan costs few monies and you'll also need some thermal paste because you need to remove the heat sink to swap the fan.
